Good afternoon folks 👋

Great news — our Pitman Pies are finally back in stock! 🥧🙌

The pie makers have been closed for the past couple of weeks for their holidays and some essential repairs, but we’ve now had a fresh delivery in.

Quite a few of you have already been in for them today, but we’ve still got pretty much all varieties available.

So, if you can’t be bothered to cook tonight and fancy an easy tea, pop in and grab a few pies — tea sorted! 👌🥧

We’re open until 6pm today.

Good afternoon folks 👋

We now have a lovely variety of fresh bread buns available in the shop 🥖🙌

As many of you will know, our little shop was originally the Co-op confectionery/bakery back in the 1950s, so we thought it would be nice to bring things full circle and once again have fresh bread on the shelves — this time baked just down the road in Walker ❤️

We currently have:

🥖 Brown & white dinky buns — a little nod to West View Bakery. We’re sure plenty of locals will know exactly what we’re talking about!

🥪 White, brown & sunflower seed Tommy buns — the same lovely buns we use to make our sandwiches in the shop.

🌸 White poppy seed knots

🥖 White sub rolls

We’ll also be stocking mini stotties, although they were accidentally missed off today’s order — they’ll be joining the line-up soon!

It feels quite fitting that more than 70 years after the shop was selling bakery goods as the Co-op, we’ve got fresh bread buns on the shelves again 😊

Hope you all have a fantastic day — even though it is Monday 😂

Good afternoon folks ☀️

We’ve been trialling these Pablo Eggsgobao-inspired hash browns today and we’ve received excellent feedback 🙌

Fluffy, crispy hash browns seasoned with Mac Dust and served with sriracha mayonnaise — simple and delicious 👌

We’ll be adding them to the menu from next week for only £3 🙌

Enjoy the rest of your weekend 😊
