The deer have asked us not to post this, but they’ve helped themselves again to our Viola stock, so they’re in no position to barter!

The plums are done, but there are still plenty of dessert, eating and cooking apples ready for picking in our orchard. £2/kg, no need to book, orchard sampling free 😉.

And if you fancy growing your own, we have a full stock of apple trees from just £15, as well as crab apple trees — the perfect pollinating companion and, conveniently, some of the best blossom bloomers we sell!

If you’re looking for something compact to creep through a border, tumble over a wall or soften the edge of a raised bed, take a look at these two little beauties.

Clematis ‘Little Lemon’
A wonderfully compact, low-growing clematis with bright, lemon-yellow flowers. Rather than scrambling skywards, it stays close to the ground, making it a brilliant choice for weaving through planting or spilling naturally over the edge of a border.

Lonicera ‘Little Honey’
A neat and compact little honeysuckle with a low, spreading habit and plenty of charm. Perfect for covering the ground, filling gaps between plants or gently cascading over a container or wall.

Both in bloom now at Oaklands!
