I consider myself very lucky to be part of this wonderful market! I trade here 2 or 3 Saturdays a month (husbands shifts determine this).

This Saturday marks 3 years since we started Makers Market at Killingworth Centre and what an incredible journey it’s been! ❤️
When we first opened, we had a vision of creating a place where local independent businesses could showcase their amazing products and where the community could shop small and support local. Three years later, we’re so proud of how much the market has grown.
We’ve welcomed so many talented traders over the years, watched small businesses flourish, made lifelong friendships, and built a market that’s become a regular Saturday destination for so many of you.
To every single customer who has visited, bought a gift, stopped for a chat, shared our posts, or recommended us to family and friends… thank you. Your support means everything to every small business trading with us.
And to our amazing traders, thank you for your hard work, your passion, and for believing in the market. It wouldn’t be what it is without you. It’s been wonderful seeing our trader family continue to grow, with new faces joining us and making each Saturday even more special.
