🖤 INTRODUCING… THE POLITE SOCIETY 🖤

Elegant on the outside. Questionable on the inside. A bit like me, really 😂

I’m honestly just loving designing again, and I’ve loved creating this collection every bit as much as Black & White Stories. I really hope you love them too. 🖤

To everyone getting their GCSE results today — please don’t put too much pressure on yourselves.

You can only do your best, and whatever is written on that piece of paper doesn’t define you, your worth or what you’re capable of.

There’s more than one road to where you want to be — and God knows, I’ve taken a few detours myself!

Sometimes the route you thought you were taking completely changes… and that’s okay. You might even end up somewhere you never expected.

Be proud of yourselves for getting this far.

Your results are one tiny chapter. They don’t get to write your whole story 🖤

These two images were a request made over the weekend to celebrate Dan Burn being announced as captain and to capture the start of the 2026/27 season ⚽️

From the back lanes of Blyth to leading the lads out, there’s something ‘propa’ special about that story 🖤

Both prints will be added to the Black & White Stories collection later today.

A LITTLE LOLA’S UPDATE 🖤

Lots going on behind the scenes at Lola’s!

New branding, new designs, new business cards and a whole new look — black & white, because apparently we’re matching the colour of my eye bags now.

I’m also busy converting files so I can offer larger print sizes:

A5 — £3
A4 — £5
A3 — £8

I’m hoping to have everything updated and available through the online shop within the next 3–4 weeks.

Lola’s actually started and grew mainly through local orders and word of mouth, with loads of what I made never even reaching the online shop.

Some of you originals might remember The Naughty Corner — sweary chocolate bars and glassware were some of the first things that got Lola’s noticed. 😂

A good start to Saturday… all orders cleared! 🖤📦

There’s something very satisfying about seeing that order list sitting at ZERO after a busy week.

Everything printed, packed and on its way — so I can finally breathe before I inevitably start creating something else and give myself another job to do.

Thank you, as always, for every single order and for keeping my little business busy. It never goes unnoticed. 🖤
