Another FOUR boxes of stock arrived today, (12 so far) with around EIGHT more still to come!

We’re now looking at 300+ records and counting, with some amazing titles already uncovered, including:

Eight record boxes have just arrived at Beyond Vinyl and I’m currently working my way through them!

Already over 200 titles discovered, with plenty more still to uncover…

Expect a mix of:

🎶 Rare and hard-to-find albums
🎶 Sealed and unplayed records
🎶 Some absolute classics and hidden gems

Most have come from a well cared for collection, with most still sealed & never played.

Over the coming days and weeks, these records will be making their way into our new BEYOND VAULT collection – a dedicated home for special pre-owned and collectible releases.

Nothing is live just yet, so bear with me while I work through everything, but trust me… there’s some incredible stuff in these boxes and more stock is still to come!

We’ve recently added over 1,000 new albums to the Beyond Vinyl website, with many more being added in the coming weeks as we continue expanding our catalogue across multiple suppliers.

You may notice that some products currently display our “Image Coming Soon” placeholder. These titles are still available to order – we’re simply working through the process of adding artwork and additional information to the listings.

Every now and then an album arrives in the shop that completely catches you off guard.

I’d heard of Jalen Ngonda, but had never knowingly sat down and listened to his music. This week his album landed in store, so I stuck it on the turntable.

Wow.

From the first track I was hooked. The songwriting, the production, the vocals, the warmth of the sound – everything about it just feels special.

In a world where so much music feels disposable, this sounds timeless. Beautiful old-school soul with echoes of the greats, yet somehow it still feels fresh and relevant.

It’s rare that I stop what I’m doing and just listen to a record, but this was one of those albums.

This isn't a sales pitch. Just a genuinely brilliant record that completely blew me away.

My Beastie Boys journey started with Fight For Your Right.

Like many people, that was the track that got me through the door.

But it was album Paul’s Boutique and then Check Your Head that cemented it for me.

Years later I got to see Beastie Boys live at Newcastle Riverside. Last week I had the pleasure to see MIKE D perform in North Shields.

Now, with Mike D’s new album just around the corner, it feels like the perfect time to bring together old-school hip hop heads, Beastie Boys fans, record collectors and music lovers for a special night celebrating the music, culture and influence that has inspired generations.

This isn’t just about looking back.

It’s about celebrating Mike D’s new music while recognising the incredible journey that led here.
