Today is the end of my school holidays here in Newcastle. Always a time for reflection and gratitude. I haven’t been away this summer but have still been living my best life!…

😌lots of catching up with friends
🍽️ 🍻 🍷 some fantastic food and drink
🚄day trips to York and Edinburgh Fringe
🚌enjoyed the open top bus tour of my home town
🚶‍♀️ walked miles and miles and miles
📚 read several books
🎶 seen various musicals and comedy shows, including ending up in my own box to watch Six

How have you been living your best life in summer ‘25?

I told you I love tracking my sales…🤓🫣😂

In 2024 (my first year of Etsy sales) I sent orders to 13 different US states.

At the end of May 2025 I have already sent orders to 13 different US States.

But…

…with the exception of a lovely repeat customer in TX and orders in MI, TN and MA, all the orders are to different states compared to 2024!

And … watch this space for delivery to 2 new countries coming soon!! 🗺️

Hello!

Thought it was about time I showed my face here again and did a little re-introduction 👋

🔨I’m Gill (for my American followers that is “Jill with a G”)
🔨I live in Newcastle in NE England, although I grew up in West Yorkshire
🔨I am 100% self taught, I’ve never been shown how to metal stamp or watched any tutorial videos
🔨I am a naturally positive, optimistic and patient person
🔨I find metal stamping very relaxing and satisfying, although it sometimes requires a lot of patience
🔨I am a teacher and maths tutor in my day job
🔨I have recently been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes
🔨I have a black and white cat called Minnie, I adopted her 2 years ago
🔨I love starting with a blank piece of metal and turning it into a keepsake - something special, meaningful or fun
🔨I get overly excited tracking where in the UK and USA my products have been sold to, and where in the world they are travelling with their new owners!

❤️Thank you for following and supporting my small business
