Way back in the 50s, 60s and 70s, when wages were low but the cost of living was even lower, disposable income high but nowhere to dispose it, many aspiring couples and families "splashed out" on a radiogram, stereogram or music centre. Built into cool and hip, or vintage and retro cabinets, these included the latest in record turntable, radio and ultimately cassette technology. Often bought as a wedding or anniversary gift the made a statement that you had "arrived". Often using classic wooden veneers of teak, walnut and mahogany, not only did they make the party go with a swing but seved as wonderful pieces of furniture in their own right. Now you can add that vintage quality and sparkle to your vintage home. Fully refurbished, so that everything works as new, they should give you another lifetime of audio and visual pleasure. Sadly, in the 80s and 90s many families disposed of their radio or stereograms, usually at the local dump or in a skip.
