Today, we got the metro to Tynemouth, walked down the front street, along to Collingwood Monument, down onto the promenade and along to North Shields Fish Quay, walked along to the Ferry landing and then up to Newcastle Quays Retail Park via the marina dishing out 'first reading stories' sponsored by Newcastle Round Table - swipe through the pictures to follow my route and see some of the stops along the way - have you found a book?! 🧐👀

The Magic Bookworm is back out hiding books - and this time they've made their way to Richardson Dees Park in Wallsend! 🌳📖

Following the lovely book hunt at St Mary's Lighthouse, more books sponsored by Newcastle Round Table have now been hidden around the park by The Magic Bookworm.

There's a mix of first reading stories, phonics-focused books and beginner fact files, so who knows what you might stumble across!

If you find one, take a photo and let The Magic Bookworm know — then you can either enjoy the book yourself or re-hide it for someone else to discover. ❤️

And there are more free books being hidden around North Tyneside over the coming days.

It’s just two and a half weeks until Father’s Day! Do you need to help your child find that perfect gift for their dad or grandad? With this lovely book, they can snuggle up together sharing a hug whilst turning the pages to make the characters inside hug 🥰💙

The World Cup begins on 11th June and there will be football mad youngsters everywhere! I’ve put together this little bundle consisting of a Football Colouring & Activity book, a Football Sticker book, some football frenzy haribos, some shades sweets and a couple of England flags to cheer them on! These books will be a perfect screen-free activity between the matches! 😍
