farOpen Open Studios Art Trail
July 4th-12th 2026
We are so thrilled to announce the 2026 farOpen Open Studios Art Trail brochure is now LIVE on our website with fully interactive map to help you plan your journey around the Forest of Dean and along the Rivers Wye and Severn.
This year’s colourful cover photo is of Pam Moolman’s Glass:
Pam Moolman has studied and worked in the art of fused glass for the past 20 years. She and Ian Richardson, a metal sculptor, collaborate in glass and metal, creating large sculptures that respond to and interact with the changing light and the natural environment. She draws inspiration from the ever-changing beauty and seasonal rhythms of the Forest of Dean.
Visit her website here for more and see her work in person at Shared Studio 40.

Artists will be opening their studios to welcome you in, offering you a behind-the-scenes tour of their studio and look at their work. You’ll see pieces in progress, finished artworks for sale and have the chance to chat with the artists about their inspiration and techniques.
Whether you’re curious about how art is made, fancy a relaxed day out exploring or are looking for something special to add to your collection, 55 studios will be opening their doors and inviting you into their creative spaces.
This year, by popular demand, all studios will be open daily from 10am to 3pm.
It’s worth checking individual listings though, as some artists will be open for longer hours.
