Today the sunshine has made me feel happy. I drove my car with the air con on, I didn't wear a coat and wellies, I finished my vitamin D tablets , I sold 2 broody pens, I booked some activities at Countrytastic for the kids at Easter, Buddy didn't need his paws wiping everytime he went outside, the chickens spent the day dust bathing, the Magnolia trees are looking beautiful - just because it is warm and sunny. Thank goodness for Spring!

We are now closed for a Christmas break until Monday 5th January 2026. Thank you to all of our customers for making 2025 such a good and magical year. We hope that you all have a lovely Christmas and look forward to 2026 when we can do it all over again but in the meantime I can't wait to wear a silly hat and eat and drink 🍗🍾 far too much!

Oh no. Mr Buddy has pulled me over again. A rabbit ran in front of us whilst we were walking on the grass which spooked us both. Trip to A&E for me. Fell flat on my face with my hands out to protect me which took the brunt of the fall. I despair.

Absolutely’over the moon’ with my 12 bird hen house . Firstly , the communication and service has been excellent. Secondly , the hen house is of exceptional quality and craftsmanship. The design is superb . So many helpful features that ensure accessing for cleaning etc is stress free. Thirdly , my chicks are very happy in their new home . Thank you Timber Flair

Phew, after 3 long days our website is finally back up and running. Can't deny it wasn't stressful. Items for sale can be viewed and orders can now be placed as normal. We currently have offers on both Large and Standard Grandpa's Feeders with 5% off either size and Chicken Guard Door Openers which have £10 off. Grab one whilst you can, nothing lasts forever!
We have our June drop off from Chickens to your Door tomorrow, Friday 27th so looking forward to seeing gorgeous healthy chickens and bantams arriving ready to be collected by their new owners later in the day. I love seeing the customers reaction when they see their newbies - it is so special.

Our website is not working as it should at the moment due to a technical issue which is being worked on. It means that items can be seen but not ordered. Thank you to everyone who came to see us at the Royal Three Counties Show. We made record sales and spoke to so many people I have lost my voice. Seeing so many lovely customers and visitors makes it all worth it. Our lovely neighbours at the show Freddie's Flowers even gave me a gorgeous bouquet to go home with. Lots of work to catch up on now and then get ready for the next one! 😍

All set up at the Royal Three Counties Show in Malvern ready to trade from tomorrow. It is on from Friday 13th June until Sunday 15th June . Hoping for a lovely 3 days of seeing lots of people and hopefully selling to lots of customers. Plenty to see and do for all ages in a magical setting at the foot of the Malvern Hills. If you are visiting the show don't forget to come and see us on stand 102, as normal right by the main South Gate entrance on Row 1. As always we will be selling lots of our own gorgeous hen houses, feeders, drinkers, other chicken accessories and of course Grandpa's Feeders. Early night tonight!

After a very long 5 days away trading at the Bath and West Show we are finally getting back on track with orders, new stock and making more hen housing for The Royal Three Counties Show next week on 13th, 14th, 15th June. We had a really successful show as always and as usual met lots of lovely customers old and new and spoke far too much. Mr Buddy was a star and really enjoyed it. He doesn't know he has to do it all over again next week!

Having a rare day off today. Taking the family to Countrytastic at Malvern 3 Counties Showground. Lots of animals and things to do and learn. Going to be fun and should put me in the mood to start prepping for our shows starting in May!
