The home of Fothergill's still remains at Kentford, Newmarket, although the premises are now significantly different, with purpose built offices, packing and storage buildings. You don't need a huge garden to grow something good 🌼

When space is limited, it's all about making the most of what you've got - growing upwards, using containers, filling little gaps + thinking about all those spaces you might normally overlook.

A balcony can grow herbs.
A patio can grow veg.
A windowsill can grow something too.

So don't worry about how much space you don't have. Start with what you do have + see where you can take it.

People often say gardening is good for your wellbeing... but why?

It turns out there are lots of reasons.
