A fun sauna hat making workshop today with Elie Seaside Sauna. Great hats were made followed by birch whisk making and then a sauna and a dip in the sea! A fabulous afternoon! Thanks Judith for hosting this event! If you missed it, there is another scheduled for October.

Felted Fleece Rug Workshop at the Home of the Balmerino Sheep. Join us on August 30th from 10am to 2pm and learn the ancient art of wet felting and create your very own felted fleece rug from the fleece of a living sheep. My next felting workshop is a collaboration with Elie Seaside Sauna. In this workshop you will get the opportunity to learn the ancient art of wet felting and make your very own, one of a kind wet felting sauna hat. Wearing a wool hat in a sauna acts as an insulator to keep your head cool, allowing for longer, more comfortable and safer sessions.

All materials to create your hat and whisk, will be provided but each participant will need to bring along a small towel for rolling your felt in.
This is an approximate 2 hour workshop followed by a 30 minute birch whisk making session and a 1 hour sauna session, ending at 17.00.

Hat making 14.00 – 16.00
Birch Whisk-making 16.00 – 16.30
Sauna 16.30 – 17.30
