I am thrilled to be teaching a felting with pre felt workshop at the Dornoch fibre festival next March. If you’re in the area during this time, there will be lots to do and see!

Dornoch Fibre Fest 2027 has been taking shape behind the scenes. We can now reveal the tutors and classes: Carmen Jorissen will teach two classes, Colourwork (as seen here working the Colourwork Sampler Blanket) and Lacework; Steeking with Annette Clunas; Jessica Crisp will run a Seascape landscape multi-textile collage class; Keira McFleet is teaching different Quilt binding techniques; a pre-felt felting class with Trish O'Meara (Wormit Woolies); Natural Dyeing with Anne Artis; Colour Confidence & Yarn Choice with Helen Lockhart; Jane & Bryony Kitchener will run a 2 day Rigid Heddle Weaving class; Wet Felted Seat Pad with Pam Sutherland; Jo Henderson will show you how to use a hand cranked sewing machine to make a Project Bag; Anne Coombs is teaching beginner's crochet and Ann Kerr will offer a free drop-in class in mending and darning. We hope you find something that excites you and there's more too! A variety of traders, an Exhibition in conjunction with Historylinks; demonstrations by the Highland Guild of Spinners, Weavers & Dyers and our Friday evening talk.

. Felting with pre felt is such a satisfying process. It’s amazing how the fibres fuse together to form a single felt. Pre felt can be used in so many different felting projects. Whether you’re making a rug, wall art, a cushion or wearables, the possibilities are endless. In celebration of Scottish Wool Month, there will be a month long exhibition at , in West Kilbride, Scotlands Craft Town, showcasing Scottish Felt Makers. Please join us in celebrating one of Scotlands greatest commodities whilst bringing together some of Scotlands greatest felt makers. Exhibition runs from October 3-31st! #

Calling all Scottish Feltmakers.

This is a call to take part in a celebration of Scottish Felters. As part of Wool Month (October) we will be taking over The Barony Centre in West Kilbride to showcase the range of Scottish felting skills and creativity. Please join in!

To take part, send images of your submissions to [email protected] by the 6th of September

Exhibition will run from October 3rd to the 30th

IFA members free to submit, non members, a £10 contribution per person for as many pieces you wish to submit.
