Hi Everyone 👋
So...probably a bit of an unpopular post, and maybe one i sound a bit petty and full of myself with lol but one I feel sadly needs to be made for me!
Im never negative on this page,.but because I've been feeling so deflated for weeks/months now and its actually effecting the way I work and run my business and even my home life, and hoping getting this off my chest is the end of this slump!
This year has been absolutely bonkers, weddings galore and my personal life being *chaos* to put it polite. Things have been full on with my Type 1 diabetic daughter and my son now having his official Autisum diagnosis and everything in general inbetween! Its Exhausting!
I will always work my ass off to keep my family fed and with the life we have, I end up working 7 days a week, day and night to make sure my bookings and orders are perfect for you all because I genuinely love what I do and care about you all so much
But I feel like this year my kind nature has been taken advantage off massivley too many times, looking back at bookings and orders I have done way more than I should have for £0 thats my time, effort, creativity, design, my personal items being used all for nothing with not even a thank you after it all.
Honestly I put weeks of work into some of your Weddings and events and work until all hours making sure every little detail we've spoke about is included, my work then has been 90% of your special days and partys and every one I go above and beyond
Certain things have genuinely upset me and caused me to re think how I run things because I've been such a push over, I'm worth way more than I've charged (or not charged) in some cases so going forward please just remember i am also a human, this is my job, how I feed my family, how I pay our bills and live and if you dont like my prices or how I do things you are free to go with another event business I'd be happy to even recommend some amazing ones from Newport!
My prices, Packages and Booking procedure is now changing because of certain situations this year
Going forward I am going to price things based on the amount of work, time and effort involved plus a few extra things I've never taken into consideration until now!!
