The name Beltane is thought to come from the Celtic “Bel Tine”, meaning “bright fire” — a nod to the sacred fires traditionally lit to honour the season 🔥

🖤 Black Obsidian at Dragonfly
We had quite a few people asking for black obsidian last week, so we thought we’d share a little more about it.
Obsidian is a natural volcanic glass, formed when molten lava cools quickly. It has a smooth, glossy finish and a deep black tone that many people are drawn to.
Often chosen for grounding and protection, and for helping to clear away unwanted or heavy energy when things feel a bit unsettled.
We’ve got a range in the shop at the moment, including:
• classic black obsidian
• gold sheen obsidian
• snowflake obsidian
We have stones, bracelets and a few other pieces.
How people tend to use it:
• carry a small piece in a pocket or bag
