Making Mosaics Courses, commissions and community art, in mosaic and ceramic. Making Mosaics was born where many small businesses are, at home on the kitchen table.

We graduated to a shed and then to premises, in fact a shop on the high street, (but not run as one), in nearby Newport, ESSEX, to allow more room for larger commissions and more frequent courses (there is only so many days one can keep their kitchen table free)

General information

Courses are run about 3 times a term, students can book one day or two. A really wide range of tiles is provided and extensive notes are available to every student so they can go home and try different techniques. Six week courses are run once a term starting September 2012 - these have proved really popular, the first course advertised was full 3 months before the event.
