Due to the rise in fuel costs and threat of fuel rationing ⛽️ I have made the decision to ditch the van and will be operating from my Surron until further notice. 📱

One positive … I can fit double the repairs in daily as I’ll no longer have to sit in traffic for partial road closures and temporary lights that cover our city with no work actually taking place.

I’ve noticed a trend… for the third time this month I’ve had water damaged repairs booked in. Each customer baffled and convinced it’s not been in any water… BUT, they have had a liquid detection message pop up... 💦

I’ve asked the same questions… do you v**e? Yes . Do you charge it with the same cable you charge your phone / ipad. The answer, YES. 💨

The oil from the v**e even the smallest amount can be transferred from your v**es port to your device.. this oil will quickly eat away at the pins and corrode your charger port, as you can see in the pics.

Today’s customer… one cable contaminated with v**e oil has destroyed 2 x iPad 12.9 6th gen charging ports in the same household. Completely corroded.

My advice! Get a separate cable for your devices it’s not worth a hefty repair bill or worse causing damage beyond repair.
Both ports replaced , new cables supplied and the devices live to see another day!

8 years on and I find myself back in my car doing some simple repairs today! 🚗 📲 so I had to dig out these beauty’s…

The van is in for repair and I’ve had to cancel most of my jobs this week, which is a huge hit… but Im back in the car and popped out doing some of the simpler jobs to not fall behind too much… and it’s taken me right back to where I started 🚗💭.

The good days,The exciting times!! I knew I was onto something different and from doing repairs from my car I got my first van which then led to a shop and multiple vans.
The best journey with the most ups and downs!

It’s also made me think of all the people who have supported my business, recommended me, used my services and been patient with me when dealing with genuine anxiety around phones and replying to messages and calls… when my business revolves around that very device I have anxiety over 😂. We keep going 🐭📲
