So I've never been interested in felting before. But a friend was hosting a workshop for a small group yesterday and I felt (see what I did there) the urge to go! I'm so pleased I did. It was such a relaxing day! Now I just need the tools to carry on at home 😅. Have you ever tried felting?
The workshop was run by Maxine Smith | UK Felt Artist | Shropshire and was so informative and chilled. 🥰🍄🧡🍄🥰

Do you ever go to post on here, then watch the cursor just blink...for the next 40mins? 😅 I have got my crojo back though, so thats good. So I'm back to working on the alternative border for this sunflower throw pattern. Everything I write just feels flat 🫠 🤷🏻‍♀️.

Gutted to have had to do this 😢. I will miss working in ZigZags Newport Shropshire ✂️ . The community that Rose (the owner) has helped to blossom is lovely and I will miss being a part of it on a regular basis. When I'm feeling stronger I WILL be running some crochet workshops again💪🏻. My health can make me feel like I have to continuously give up my goals and ideas. Focusing on the things I CAN do now is what is important. So, for now I'll do what I can to help my body recover and in the meantime work on some new crochet patterns 🌻. Thank you Rose for being you!

21 of 30 sunflowers crocheted so far 🌻

I'm itching to get these joined together so I can start working on the alternative border for this sunflower throw.

On a less positive note, I recently discovered that one of my crochet patterns has been uploaded to a free download site 😔. It's incredibly disheartening to see something I've spent so much time creating being shared without my permission.

As many of you know, I've been unable to work for over 5 months due to a health flare, so pattern sales through my Etsy shop are more important than ever. Every sale genuinely helps support both my business and future pattern designs.

Can you spot something different this crochet pattern?...I'm also working on my previous sunflower throw pattern to create new photos for my Etsy shop. Plus an alternative border that people have been asking me about for aaages!

I wish the sun was shining today, alas its raining 🌧 and making me feel a little blue. So I'm trying to be thankful for the previous week I was able to crochet in the garden and enjoy the outdoors.

Working on something old and something new today whilst enjoying this gorgeous weather ☀️🌻

The last few months have been a challenge due to a health flare, and I've had to step away from work. So I'm putting my focus into something else I love, growing my Etsy shop and designing a new sunflower crochet pattern 💛🌻

It's made me slow down and appreciate the little things, like sitting in the garden with a crochet hook in hand and enjoying the beautiful blooms around me 🌸

When was the last time you slowed down to enjoy the little things? 💕

It was a joy to create this sunburst granny square blanket 💜💙🩵❤️🧡.

I had tried following the ombre in the border but it didn't look right. So in the end I just crocheted all around the blanket with the three different colours instead. Its so cozy and loved crocheting it while it was on my lap. Handed it over to my lovely customer today and she loved it 😀.

Gotta loved granny square blankets, they're so simple and enjoyable.

The yarn is Crescendo Aran.
