✨🎄 Top tips to Keep Your Christmas Tree Fresh! 🎄✨

Here are our top tips to make your tree shine:

🌲 1. Give it a fresh cut
Before placing your tree in the stand, trim 1–2 cm off the base so it can drink up water properly.

💧 2. Water, water, water!
Check the stand daily—trees are thirsty! Never let the water level drop below the trunk.

🔥 3. Keep it cool
Place your tree away from radiators, fireplaces, and direct sunlight to prevent it from drying out.

💡 4. Use LED lights
They stay cooler and help your tree last longer (plus they save energy!).

✨ 5. Don’t overload
Lighter decorations help your tree hold its shape and stay sturdy.

Our Story

Shide Christmas Trees openned for business in 1999 selling Christmas trees direct to the public during the months of November & December. All our trees are grown here on the Island and cut fresh so that we can ensure a better quality of tree. We sell thousands of trees every year, with sizes between 15 & 20ft going out to local councils and the community. On site we sell the popular Norway Spruce and Nordman Fir varieties as well a few others, so if it’s a 3ft tree or a 12ft+ tree then we have plenty of choice. in 2015 we opened up a Christmas tree trail that winds through a forest of trees. With a few fun photo opportunities, it’s a great way to get into the Christmas spirit with all the family when coming to choose your tree.
