Pembrokeshire Candle Centre

Pembrokeshire Candle Centre Inger John has been making hand-dipped candles for more than 40 years. On the site, candle making workshop, mini-museum, gallery and riverside picnic area

Set in a very beautiful wooded valley, this is one of the longest-established craft businesses in Wales. Visitors can see candles made in the traditional way, without any mechanisation. Inger's candles are known throughout the UK for their vibrant colours and delicate scents; she was the one who started the scented candle trend! She also runs candle making courses for small groups. Good car-parkin

g access, but the roads are narrow, and leaders of bus groups should ring to discuss practicalities. No charge for entry. There is also a riverside picnic area adjacent to Cilgwyn Bridge. Please note: no cafe or other refreshment facilities. Downstairs wheelchair access is good, but there is no disabled access to the upstairs gallery. Well-behaved dogs and children are welcome!
