Strawberry planter made out of reclaimed wood! Perfect if you don’t want to have to lean down to pick the fruits🍓🪵

The wood has been charred and painted with decking stain to help preserve it and give it the unique design

Do you have any leftover wood paint from your summer project? We are looking for donations to help with the refurbishment of our wood shop

If you have anything you would like to donate, please bring it down to our workshop any day during our opening hours (Monday-Friday 9am-2pm, Saturday 10am-3pm)

We would be grateful for any paint, no matter what colour, or how much - we want to use materials that are would have been wasted otherwise!

Our collections team have been super busy collecting lots and lots of 16ft long lengths, in really good condition (for reclaimed wood!). As you can see, we have a van full of 7x2, and there’s also 2x2, 3x2, 4x2 - perfect for making benches, cold frames, or any other project you have in mind!

Come in to our workshop 9am-2pm Monday-Friday or 10am-3pm on Saturdays to get your hands on these!

Important Notice

Reseiclo Community Wood Recycling is closed to the public today due to staff shortages.

We will be open again as normal on Monday.

Apologies for any inconvenience, and thank you for your understanding.

We are also at the Newport City Council recycling pop-up at Pill Asda today, from 9:30am until 2:30pm, so please feel free to come along and see us there.

You may not have seen as they’re normally hidden away down the yard, but we have several extra large ex-whisky barrels in stock! These are perfect for a water butt, or cut in half as giant planters (swipe to see!).

Please note these are extremely heavy and large, and will not fit through a regular front door. Approximately: 114cm tall, 70cm top diameter

About Reseiclo: we are a not-for-profit social enterprise based in Newport, South Wales that collects “waste” wood, saving it from landfill and being downcycled. We dismantle and de-nail the wood in our yard and resell it to the public for DIY and sell our offcuts as firewood. We also have an on-site work-based day centre for adults with learning disabilities called Reseiclo Training, who work with volunteers to build bespoke products for customers, gaining woodworking skills, as well as promoting self-esteem and confidence.
We’re open 9am-2pm Monday-Friday, and 10am-3pm on Saturdays. Come in to have a look at our stock of reclaimed wood, no appointment needed. For stock enquiries email [email protected], or call 01633 856622 – option 1.

Reseiclo Training Reseiclo Training is a day service for adults with learning disabilities, autism, dementia, and mental health which provides its service users (Trainees) with a supportive environment where they take an active part in making commissions for customers, gaining confidence, self esteem, and a sense of achievement.
