The Kyanite Collection was never really about the stone.
It started with a feeling….The feeling of standing by the sea after a difficult week.
The feeling of slowing down.
The feeling of watching the light change across the water and realising everything can look different depending on the day.
Living in Cornwall, I became fascinated by how the sea is never one colour. Some days it is deep blue. Other days it turns green, grey or almost silver.
When I discovered raw kyanite, it reminded me of exactly that.
Each shard has its own shape, colour and character, just like the coastline that inspired it.
The metal is sculpted to flow around the stone like white water wrapping itself around the shore, creating a piece that feels as though it has been shaped by the sea itself.
What started as one design has grown into a collection loved by people all over the world.
For many, it is a reminder of Cornwall.
For others, it is a reminder to slow down, breathe and hold onto the places that make them feel most like themselves.
And that is exactly what I hoped it would become.
