This final full moon of the year has packed a punch. Apart from popping out to feed ‘s cat, I’ve stayed in all day today. It’s a hibernat-y one for most of us.
Gemini moons can be slippery creatures - some say this is the lunar signtuare of the psychopath! - some say it’ the best day ever for a party.
But there’s no doubting that a Gemini moon invites unwieldy, chaotic energy, especially in matters of communication and speaking our minds. If you’ve found yourself acting out, saying what you REALLY think, or being on the receiving end of someone else tuning into this vibe, it’s pretty much par for the day.
What makes today’s energy really unique and somewhat spiky is that the moon peaked in fullness (about 4.07am this morning, GMT - if you also woke up with a jolt, I see you!) count Mars retrograde. Mars - who archetypal represents nation, aggression, and dynamic energy, is somewhere in the middle of loooong retrograde which is not his preferred direction of travel, and through Gemini, a sign which is all about pace and movement.
This conjunction makes for a bumpy day at the astrological dodgems, to say the least, and one where the prevailing mood is unpredictable, aggressive and more than a little argumentative.
See why I stayed in?
Of course, every minute is unique, every chart a figment of one in a billion lifetimes - so although the generalised mood is of conflict and confusion, this lunation and it’s ripple effect will land in your own chart and life according to your own unique placements and energies.
