News flash from Wood and Wool!
We have been very busy over the last few months, we have grown, we have moved and we have changed!
We have expanded our stock to include new bought in lines and from new local sellers.
We have moved into one of the retail units, on the Killacourt in Newquay.
We have also changed our name to Beare's Pause. Our website www.bearespause.co.uk is now live and will soon be linked to Instagram, Facebook and Tic tock. See our new logo below.
We will have on line sales ready for the summer and hope to still be able to do some of the fairs.

We are out of hibernation for the winter and at our first event of the year, Tredinnick Steam Rally near Creally. The sun is out, the atmosphere is relaxed, and there beautiful views across the whole valley to Rock and Padstow. We have new exciting stock and have new guest artists including Shannon Beckerleg and her unique painted wood and "whiskey and wine designs" who make items from whiskey and wine barrels.

Hi everyone, sorry this is such short notice but we have only just heard ourselves! We are very excited to be supporting the new St. Columb Minor Community market and craft fayre this Saturday between 9 and 12. You can't miss us we will be in the entrance.

We are at Boconnoc Steam Rally today, the gates have just opened and the sun is shining! It looks to be a busy show this year with lots of traders, engines, tractors and even mower racing. Hope to see you there.

We are looking forward to going to Boconnoc Steam Fair next weekend (27th, 28th and 29th July). We will be taking a new stock of Suzie Blue Jewellery and for the first time some wood carvings from Java Art. I have also been busy and will be taking some new boxes and serving boards. Please come and say hello and let us know of any suggestions as to what you might like to see in the future.

It's another scorching day at Padstow Vintage Rally. We have new stock in, ranging from wood and wire boxes to rope baskets to pop pop boats. We have a sale on our felt slippers and boots with only a few remaining. Why not pop down for a great day out, trampolines, ghost train and bouncy castles for the kids and football on the big screen for the adults!

This weekend we are at the Padstow vintage rally and country fair. There is loads going on with lots of animals, cars, tractors, motorbikes a fair and lots of food. The weather is just right, a little bit of sun but not too hot.
