For all who have followed me from the beginning (thankyou 🙏), you will know that I now spend my time painting ladies with sunglasses 😎over at .britcliffe.art

Sooo because of this I’m in need of more space in my studio, and what better way to do that than to have a sale !

It’s that time of year again ! 🎄😁

If you visited my stall at Tretherras Christmas Fayre last year you’ll have headed home with lots of bargains, and this year I’m back with more! Including some of my newer work .britcliffe.art where I have some very minor mis-prints or slight seconds. So if you love the sunglasses ladies you won’t want to miss it.
I’ll be sharing in stories some of the items I’m bringing along as I prep them so keep your eyes peeled 👀

You can find me in the sports hall of the main building on stall A5 on the SATURDAY ONLY as I have a footie match I can’t miss on the Sunday ⚽️ 💙

I really do have the best customers ❤️

This little lady was created way back in 2018.
A simple pencil sketch made super special by using original 1960s floral drawer liner found in a chest of drawers I inherited from my lovely Gran for her flowery costume.

At the time I had a handful of prints made, one of which was bought by this customer in California. He originally bought it to give to his daughter but at first couldn’t part with it, so it was a while before she received it.
Since he passed it on to his daughter he has kept asking for another print of which I didn’t have any as they’d all sold. So I offered him the original and he is over the moon.
As mentioned in my note to him I very rarely part with my original illustrations, but Brett showed so much love for it,it gave me so much joy to know he would own it. Much better that she is proudly displayed on his wall than kept on a folder on my shelf.

It’s only since I’ve been painting .britcliffe.art that it’s become easier for me to part with my originals. So if any of my older Spellbound work has a special place in your heart and you’d maybe like to own the original then just give me shout. I’d much rather they be enjoyed and looked at then stored away.
Plus I get more room to create 😁

I’m so happy to finally be back at the easel after the last few stressful months.
It really is the perfect therapy and if at any time you are struggling with ‘life stuff’ then please do take yourself off and try something creative. Not only does it bring you joy, it completely switches off your brain to all the worries and stresses we have to deal with sometimes.

I have loved working on no.7 and after a final ‘once over’ tomorrow I shall be excitedly sharing her with you very soon.

Any guesses on the beach ??😁
