Sundays are fundays!

It might have been damp but that didn’t stop the vintage meet at

Logs, quads and a couple of old dogs. Twins, fins and all sorts of things. Hoards of bellyboards there was lots to see.

Yeah you’re right we did come back with boards.

2 very special boards and again bringing local history back to Newquay.

1 a wonderful possibility museum quality Bilbo. This one shaped by Chris Jones (RIP) probably for Honey Williams. Thank you Andy.

2 A rare Bickers. Early 1960s and partly made my Yvonne Bickers herself. Thanks Jason for this one.

We did also snag a vintage Tris shaped single fin with Kevlar deck but that’s waiting on delivery/collection. Thanks Wayne for the deals.

We’re open 11-4 today if you want to hide from the rain and try to pick up the Bickers!!

A week after we scored a lovely WB Hot Stuff we find another 😍 anyone would be delighted with that. Nah how about this rare CJ shaped Vit C quad 🤤

To be fair bargain clothing and Boardmasters isn’t the most fun thing to do, poor chap.although this year we’ve definitely seen an interesting mix of bargain clothing seekers and genuine ocean lovers looking for help getting a salty fix!

Love it or hate it Boardies brings a very different few days to Newquay. Some that hate it leave and enjoy time outside the town. Those that like it enjoy the business and energy it brings.

I do miss the run to the sun side of the event tho.
