Championing female founders on International Women’s Day

Gill Thomas St Mawgan Embroidery Company Founder

My story …I founded St Mawgan Embroidery Company just over 5 years ago. We are located on the North Cornwall coast in the UK, and we have a passion for embroidery design. The best bit about my job is helping our customers realise their product design ideas.

I studied at Falmouth School of Art before going to Manchester Metropolitan University to study Textile Design. From there I was very lucky to work for Wilcom the worlds leading embroidery design software company. With 25 years experience working alongside famous high street names and fashion giants and small business, I returned to Cornwall and setup an embroidery specialist company utilising all my experience to do what I love.

Huge shout out to all the women and men who have championed our business, who share our passion, value our service and continue to support us, we would not be here without you.
