Cornwall is full of incredible musical talent. But talent isn’t always enough.

For many young and emerging musicians, the cost of accessing professional recording facilities and the equipment needed to develop their music can be a real barrier.

At The Studios, we want to help change that.

We’re raising £5,000 to begin Phase 1 of our studio upgrades, helping us create better professional recording facilities for the local musicians and young people already at the heart of our community.

This investment will help us provide a better space to learn, rehearse, record, create and grow — while laying the foundations for our longer-term vision of supporting emerging artists with development programmes.

This is about more than upgrading a studio. It’s about creating more opportunities for local musicians to take their next step.

If you believe Cornwall’s young and emerging artists deserve the chance to reach their potential, we’d love your support.

🙏 Donate if you can, and please share this post if you can’t. Every contribution and every share helps.

What instrument doesn’t get the credit it deserves? 🤔

Music changes lives. We've seen it every day since opening The Studios in 2016 — helping young people and local musicians learn, create, rehearse, perform and grow.

Now we want to impact even more lives by creating a music studio that our local community can be really proud of!

We’ve started a GoFundMe with the aim of raising £5,000 to begin Phase 1 of our studio upgrades, helping us improve our acoustics, recording equipment, vocal facilities, lighting and more!

This isn't just about upgrading a room. It's about creating better opportunities for the local musicians already at the heart of our community.

This is just the beginning of a bigger plan to help support and develop local musicians and bolster the grassroots music scene.

We are incredibly grateful for the support Newquay has shown us over the last 10 years since the Studios started - especially with our concerts giving back to the school music departments in the county.

In return for your support with this campaign, we’ve put together a range of little gifts to share with you - which you’ ll find on our GoFundMe page.

Your support would mean so much to us!
Every donation and every share will help us.

Who would you choose from this list to create a supergroup for the ages? 🤔

We are so thrilled and grateful to have received this incredibly generous donation of a Fender Acoustic Guitar from Phil Berriman.

Phil decided instead of selling his unused guitar to donate it to The Studios and it’s now going to be a valuable part of our school, helping us educate more people (young and old)!

Thank you so much Phil. We are over the moon with this beautiful instrument.

If you’ ve got any old instruments gathering dust at home, feel free to get in touch. We may be able to use them in our school and studios to bring so much joy to our music community!
