🚨 IMPORTANT NOTICE 🚨

FoneTek Newry will be CLOSED this Thursday & Friday.

One of my good mates has decided to get married, and apparently I’m expected to put down the tools, put on a shirt and pretend to be a respectable adult for the day. 😂💍

So for two whole days, there will be:
📱 No phone repairs
🎮 No console repairs

I’ll be back on Monday, hopefully still standing, slightly hungover, and questioning why I agreed to the whole wedding thing in the first place. 🍻😂

Thanks for your understanding!

🎮 Your PS5 doesn’t need to be broken before it deserves some attention.

This PS5 came in today for an HDMI port replacement. But once we opened it, the HDMI port wasn’t the only thing that needed attention…

The inside was absolutely packed with dust, especially around the fan and heatsink. And the photos tell another part of the story: the liquid metal around the APU had dried out and was no longer in good condition.

Your PS5 relies on proper airflow and efficient heat transfer to keep the APU running at the temperatures it was designed for. Dust buildup can restrict airflow and reduce cooling performance, while degraded liquid metal can affect heat transfer.

And excessive heat isn’t something to ignore. Over time, it can contribute to performance issues, overheating, shutdowns and potentially much more serious hardware problems.

A PS5 might look perfectly fine from the outside while slowly cooking itself on the inside. 🌡️🔥

Regular internal cleaning and proper thermal maintenance can help keep your console running cooler, quieter and healthier for longer.

Don’t wait until your PS5 starts sounding like a jet engine or stops working completely.

🎮 Look after your console before it becomes a repair job.

📱 Samsung S21 5G 128GB FOR SALE

Works perfectly.
But apparently a phone this good needs a professional model.
So I asked my colleague to pose with it.
He immediately said yes.
I’m still trying to work out why. 😂
He has the facial expression of a man who has just realised this photoshoot is unpaid.
