📢 A little reminder from our shop
We’re closed today (Friday 2nd October), but we’ll be back open tomorrow (Saturday) as usual. 💚

Please don’t leave donations outside the shop while we’re closed. Unfortunately, they won’t be brought inside or dealt with until we reopen, and being left outside can mean donations become wet, damaged or unsellable.

Sadly, when items can no longer be sold, it can actually cost the charity money to dispose of them — something we’d all much rather avoid! ♻️
If you have donations for us, we’d love to see you when we’re open.

Thank you for helping us make the most of every donation and raise as much as possible for the animals in our care. 🐴💚

Because behind every charity shop is a bunch of real people — with real lives, real personalities, good days, bad days and questionable dance moves.

And yes… we absolutely had way too much fun making this. 😂

🕸️ Fancy yourself a DIY project — or perhaps the next Great British Sewing Bee? 🧵👰‍♀️

We’ve been very kindly donated this beautiful wedding dress, but unfortunately, due to the condition it’s currently in, we’re unable to sell it. With our limited charity funds, we’re also unable to have it professionally dry cleaned — so this is where you come in!

This Halloween, we’re planning a Co**se Bride-inspired window display, and we’d love to give one of our wonderful customers the opportunity to transform this dress into the centrepiece of our spooky installation! 💀💜🧡💚

Whether you’re an experienced sewer, a creative DIY enthusiast, a budding designer, or simply fancy taking on a fun and unusual challenge, we’d LOVE to hear from you!

There’s no need to be a professional — we’re looking for someone with enthusiasm, creativity and a willingness to get stuck in.

It’s a chance to showcase your creativity, learn new skills, and create something fantastic while supporting our charity. We’d love to hear from people of all ages, backgrounds and experience levels, and especially anyone who enjoys getting creative and trying something new.

We’re busy integrating our winter stock, getting all the cosy coats, chunky knits, boots and cold-weather essentials ready for the rails. 🧣🧤

We may be a small charity shop, with a small budget to match… so our marketing strategy is pretty much word of mouth, loyal supporters and a whole lot of making prats of ourselves on the internet! 😂💚💜🧡

And you know what? It seems to be working!
