Case study: Bonded Rubber Mulch in Fringford, Oxfordshire

Fringford Parish Council called us in after an inspection flagged their village play area. The old grass mats had sunk below the soil, nothing would grow under the tree canopies, and the floor was undulating with concrete foundations showing through.

The brief: recycled, low maintenance, free draining. We laid bonded rubber mulch in green over the existing mats, with a stone sub base to ease the worst of the slopes. Porous, safe around tree roots, and quiet enough visually that it does not spoil a rural setting.

Our team worked through the summer heatwave, and the play area reopened within a week.

Case study: A rainbow bouldering wall in Wokingham, Berkshire

Walter Infant School had a long, exposed fence line they wanted to screen from the property next door, and a stretch of tarmac doing nothing at all. We turned the safety requirement into something that the children would actually like to use: an angled bouldering wall with rainbow highlights and multi coloured grips.
