Everyone starts somewhere.

Some people arrive for their very first session. Others come back after years away. Some are working towards their next trick, while others are simply enjoying their time riding.

That's why every ability is welcome at The Lodge.

Our timetable is designed so different riders can find the session that suits them best, whether that's learning with a coach, riding with family, or enjoying an open session with friends.

You don't have to be "good enough" before you come through the door. If you enjoy riding or want to give it a go, you'll fit right in.

Ever looked at our timetable and wondered why there are so many different sessions?

The simple answer is that not everyone enjoys the same environment.

Some people want to learn with a coach.

Some love the buzz of an open session.

Some prefer riding with others who share the same discipline.

Others enjoy a relaxed session where they can build confidence at their own pace.

Rather than expecting everyone to fit into one session, we've created a timetable with something for different ages, abilities and interests.

Whichever session you choose, you'll still be part of the same community.

There's something new to discover next time you're at The Lodge...

Thanks to some incredibly generous donations, our magazine library is now stocked with years of skateboarding magazines, ready to be read, shared and enjoyed.

Whether you're waiting for your session, taking a breather between runs, or just fancy a trip through skate history, pull up a chair and have a flick through. There are interviews, photos, trick tips, competitions and a whole lot of skate culture to explore.

The library is here for everyone, so we'd love the magazines to stay at The Lodge where the whole community can enjoy them for years to come.

At the moment, the shelves are mostly filled with skateboarding magazines. We'd love to grow the collection with BMX, scooter and inline magazines too, so every part of our community has something to enjoy. If you've got any you'd be happy to donate or even swap for some of our duplicate skate magazines - send us a message or bring them along next time you're in.

Let's build something the whole community can enjoy.
