A glorious moment and photo of Lesley Banks, James McDonald and Jim Wylie . All exceptional Scottish Artists who have dedicated themselves to create their own personal journey in Art , all so diverse in approach .

A wee reflective moment to look back on last week’s success at the opening night.
We are proud to have all 3 artists at the opening and they look thrilled ! Needless to say our clients are always delighted to meet the artists too.

I popped in to Glasgow to pick up more of at the new .gla . Obviously we sat in Lesley’s corner , it was delicious .

KIDS SUMMER ART CAMP IS HERE!🎨

We’re so excited to welcome our young artists back to Studio Two Six One for four weeks of creativity, colour, and messy fun this summer!🌞

Each session gives kids the chance to try different materials and techniques, build confidence, make new friends, and most importantly have fun creating art in a relaxed studio environment.

Just SOLD 🔴”Wedding Flowers” by Lesley Banks . Amazing 🤩 and a big thank you to our new client .

However…do not despair… we still have a few gorgeous other little masterpieces available from Lesley Banks.

Lesley Banks has dedicated a lifetime creating paintings that offer moments in time . The warmth of the sunshine of Italian scenes on vacation and those special moments of places from home “ Broomhill allotment” and “Cellardyke Window” might resonate to those with Scottish connections who reside a little further away .

Our amazing collection by Lesley Banks , James McDonald and Jim Wylie is definitely one of our highlights so far , since opening the gallery in 2022. Home & Away will continue to be on display until mid June , but pop in soon as the paintings are selling quickly .

The collection is also available online for direct sales . Please pop in and see them in their true technicolour glory . You will not be disappointed.

Oh what a night! ❤️🥰 A massive thank you to all of those who championed us from far and wide tonight and supporting our amazing artists ❤️Lesley Banks, James MacDonald and Jim Wylie , you have raised the bar!!! It’s an amazing exhibition with exceptional quality work. ❤️

Tonight we had friends visit us that we met in Marrakech ( albeit from Strathaven 😂) New clients travelled from Greenock , Drymen , Largs and Elgin! Of course it goes without saying that we are always thrilled to have our local supporters as always ❤️ Tonight we had dugs and weans too!

We are immensely proud of our exhibition Home & Away which has been carefully curated, styled , and assembled by our lovely wee team who have worked endlessly this week . A huge shout out to Carmen who surpassed even her own expectations by creating the online exhibition , which is available to purchase via our website! We did it! What a team effort ❤️ .sturgeon

In order...Lesley Banks with her stunning depictions of Italian views and closer to home a Broomhill Allotment and a Cellardyke Window! So rich in colour and theme, little gems of detail.

Second up is James MacDonald with his meticulous Golden Age Era inspired style of Dutch still life with a modern twist! His “Toast ‘n’ jam” sold instantly! Do not despair we still have an amazing strawberry tart! In addition to James’ paintings, we have a fine selection of mezzotints too.

Finally and last but not least by any means is Jim Wylie’s spontaneous complementary and colourful Scottish scenes. Lively, energetic and completely joyous!
