Meet the local trader who's been a vital part of thousands of birthday celebrations in Earlestown for the past 26 years!

If you've celebrated a birthday, wedding, graduation or other occasion over the past quarter of a century, there's a possibility that Margaret, from Celebrations on Bridge Street, has been a part of it.

Her customers love her for it, and the feeling's mutual. Margaret prides herself on finding the exact right card for pretty much every occasion going, however unusual. Cards for the dog. Cards from the dog. Cards for every kind of relation you can think of.

"The people here are so friendly, and they've been so supportive to me," she says. "They're just wonderful people."

Celebrations are the first to be featured in our new series, getting to know the independent traders who give the town its character while the regeneration works continue.
