September is Worldwide pulmonary Fibrosis awareness month and I will be taking part in the biggest Half marathon in the world thsi coming Sunday. I will be travelling over to Newcastle Upon Tyne to take part in the Great North Run. Not only will I be raising awareness of Pulmonary Fibrosis but will be raising funds to help Pulmonary Fibrosis NI continue the hard work it carries out throughout Northern Ireland where it supports patients and carers that have been diagnosed with this terrible disease. You can help me with this by giving me a wee donation to help me on my way, and trust me i need all the help I can get lol. This is the link where you can donate direct to this amazing charity.

So the day after running my second Half Marathon im just chillin while the ladies in the group go shopping. These 2 halfs have been hard but worthwhile and i would like to thank everyone that donated to my just giving page. Your money will go towards Pulmonary Fibrosis NI continue it's work with all patients and carers with this awful condition throughout NI.
Yesterday I almost quit as i just didn't feel that i could do it, until at around Mile 7 and again at mile 9 one of the many people cheering everyone on and thanked me for what i was doing as her husband was diagnosed last year with PF. Second time i saw her i stopped and had a quick chat with her about her husband and how he was getting on. This interaction, i think ,helped this lady feel that she was not alone. As i left her i have to say i had a wee cry and it gave me the strength to finish what i started. So thanks again. There is still time to donate so here is the link.

Well that's all the Primary School Children back in school and i'm sure all the teachers out there are glad to have them all back. Now's the time to think about celebrating your P7 children with a personalised Class of '21 Leavers hoodie.
