Commissions!!!!
I have a lot still to do!!!
I think the current count is about 15 and people have been very patient.
But it’s a good feeling when I get one finished.

Anyway this was given to me by lovely lady, who had struggled with the pattern she gave me the wool and pattern and asked could I knit it for her.
I am so busy at the moment although I love knitting the commissions for people they take average of about 100 hours, and with two shops and three dogs I just don’t get the time. So for a traditionally knit jumper, expect to be waiting months, some people have been incredibly patient and have been waiting a lot longer than that.😬🤣
I am endeavouring to get them all finished as soon as I possibly can but it’s slow going.
Anyway, I had a bit of trouble with the pattern myself, I think the pattern was AI or it was originally in another language and lost something in translation. They were using terms I’d never heard of but with some struggles along the way I got there in the end.
Lots of techniques were used in the pattern that I had not heard of so it took a bit of thinking to figure out, but it had some absolutely beautiful touches.
The framing of the pattern, and the joining of the edges, was a really gorgeous idea. I might rework the pattern a bit and see if I can do it again with my own unique twist.
I am really happy with how it turned out. I think it’s absolutely stunning and hoping the customer does too.

It would be £500 and 6 month lead time.
Now I know you are thinking that seems expensive….but a jumper can take over 100 hours to make, so that works out at less than £5 per hour + material costs on top of that.
