And relax, or in my case get on with all the other things I need to do before Easter.

An order of 20 reading cushions all finished and packed ready for delivery.

For those of you who don’t understand what a reading cushion is, it’s a pretty cushion with an embroidered pocket on the front to store a book in.

These make wonderful gifts for newborns or birthdays.

I’m so happy that after a few weeks of messing about and learning how to work my new 6 needle machine I am now confident enough to open my order books for reading cushions, birth cushions, wedding cushions, birthday cushions or a cushion for any special occasion.

These two reading cushions were made for a brother and sister to celebrate their recent christening.

These are the 1st commissions on my new machine, some aprons for a friend.
I love the colour.

My very last commissions of 2025, 2 reading cushions made for the grandsons of a very old friend.
My order book will reopen in February after I have done a lot of playing with my new 6 needle embroidery machine.

Thanks to our local Council and the RBD Grant I got an early Christmas present yesterday , a much wanted 6 needle embroidery machine. 😘😘

It is just out of the (very large) box and I can’t wait to get stitching on it, but I think I will need to wait for a few days.
