Hi all,

Now is the time of year that we should all be thinking about helping the wildlife through the winter and looking forward to the spring time when new life begins and plant life begins to Bloom.

There is all you need to achieve this at the NB Wildlife stand at Whynot? North Berwick. As we are now in Nestbox week UK 22'
https://www.nestboxweek.com/, what better time to install one of our hand-made nest boxes and pick up some good quality nesting material to make your garden visitors super cosy from that cold wind.

**This Sunday** (8 August) we are running a mini Bioblitz event at North Berwick Trust's North Berwick Nature Park in East Lothian. BOOKING is essential as numbers will be limited.

The morning session will focus on wildlife species recording and is aimed at local naturalists/recorders. We will be checking the moth trap for captures from the previous evening before exploring the rest of the site. The aim is to compile as many species records as possible during the morning.

In the afternoon there will be 3 guided nature walks on the hour. Beginners (including families) are welcome to attend these, but under 16s must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.

It is so good to see the wild flowers out in full bloom and hear the busy chorus of insect life as we walk through NB nature reserve. This is a favourite place for me, so peaceful and relaxing and great to see the wildlife thriving. Bob the Beagle loves it too

What a great area to have that is so different, yet so close, to the coastline.
We are so lucky to have this beautiful and quiet space to walk through and hear the Skylarks singing and many a Deer spotted.
Well done to and please please take the time to fill out their questionnaire, so we can all help make this an amazing place to encourage and enjoy our local wildlife 🦅
