Thank you SO much to everyone who came along to Newhailes Market over the weekend!

I think the eclipse has officially taken me out of action because apparently it also took my ability to adult and form sentences.

What a gorgeous weekend it was! Thank you to everyone who battled marathon traffic, questionable Scottish weather and general Sunday chaos to come and see us in the beautiful grounds of Newhailes House and Gardens.

And thank you for all the lovely chats, comments and interest in our Fiesty goodies. We absolutely love seeing you discover our goodies and get as excited about them as we do!

Saturday small business pop up shop at seton sands Campsite East Lothian down by the owners and guest services.

You can have a wee snoop in the for sale caravans as you never know when you might need breathing space from the monkeys from your circus

On the day we'll all have some kind of sale,mystery bags and treats

ELLIE

Bringing her gorgeous vegan-friendly soaps and bath bombs, all SLS & SLES free, plus her eco soy wax melts and candles.

I've actually tasted Ellie's soap and wax melts.

This is one of my many compulsions but definitely not recommended.

And after all these years, Ellie STILL looks horrified every single time I do it.

I don't know what she expected.

TONIA

Tonia brings wine glass charms, activity packs and cards — and is also the woman responsible for supporting both my wine drinking AND my inability to wear matching shoes.

Her wine charms help ensure I know which glass is mine.

Because apparently just drinking from whichever one is nearest isn't socially acceptable.

She also does funky shoelaces, which are absolutely my sort of thing.

Tonia… please bring the fu***ng laces back.

I'm not above begging publicly.

KERRY

Kerry is my go-to woman for bags.

Especially when I find one that can accommodate a Spoons ice bucket.

Yes.

This is a genuine requirement.

If a bag can fit an ice bucket in it, I don't need to know what the bag was designed for.

I have found its purpose.

She'll also have bags, T-shirts, baseball caps on sale

And some of her stuff plays directly into my inappropriate sense of humour.

I'm saying no more.

This Saturday I’ll be at the Seton Sands holiday village, down by the beach, with a table absolutely FULL of shiny, sparkly, weird and occasionally questionable geological treasures.

And when I say full, I mean I HAVE THOUSANDS OF THE BASTARDS.

So naturally, I’m now faced with the delightful problem of deciding which ones make it onto the table.

I stock crystals in different grades and qualities. Some are more common and affordable, while others are rarer, larger, have better colour, clarity, formation or overall quality — and yes, that affects the price.

I’m not just making s**t up because I fancy charging you more for a purple rock.

My crystals are ethically sourced wherever possible, and if you want to know where something came from, what it is, why it costs what it does, or whether it will actually make you more powerful than your mother-in-law…

Its Newhailes House and Gardens time again!!

I'll be there Sunday, hopefully dressed for Scottish spring/summer/winter, Autumn may make the occasional appearance throughout the day too.

I have an absolutely gorgeous selection of handmade incense burners.

My large selection of carvings, statement pieces, tumbles, rough and polished crystals will be there with me.

If there's anything you're looking for please ask as I probably have it in a box under the table.

New Make Alert – Knight of Smoke & Secrets

Not every fairy garden is sunshine and daisies...
Sometimes it's a battle-worn knight who guards your incense, a bottle of dragon stone (obsidian chips), an alleged assassination list 👀, a bloodied sword, a shard of dragon glass, and a few suspiciously dead things.
But before anyone gets worried.....there's a wee pink bush.

Balance is important.

Perfect for lovers of gothic fantasy, dragons, witches, dark fae, and anyone whose aesthetic is "chaos, but make it adorable."

Fantastic organisation and an absolutely scorcher of a day!

I unfortunately came overdressed with fluffy leggings, jumper dress and chunky boots. By 10am the boots were under the table, revealing my true height🤣😭 the dress was thrown away and the wonderful Alison Elder gave me a tie dye shirt to cover my modesty!
It was a good day anyway.

I get asked at fayres all the time...
"Where do you get your crystals from?"
The answer? All over the world.

I work hard to source from suppliers who share my values around ethical sourcing and fair trading wherever possible. The crystal world is a huge place, and like many things, it isn't always black and white. I do my best to research suppliers, ask questions, and source responsibly.

Now, a little honesty from your resident chaotic faerie...
I've been working with holistic healing, Reiki and crystals in both my work and personal life for many years. But despite what some people on social media might tell you, nobody knows everything.
Crystal names change. Trade names appear. Mines close. New material is discovered. Someone somewhere decides to rename a stone because apparently we needed more CONFUSIONITE
So if you visit me at a fayre and spot something I've named incorrectly, or you know a different composition, variety, or trade name...

PLEASE TELL ME!
I genuinely love learning and I'm always open to being educated.
Just be aware that once we start talking crystals, geology, folklore, healing properties, dragons, shiny things, or random spiritual rabbit holes...
You may need a safe word to escape the conversation because I get distracted very easily and could accidentally keep you there for 45 minutes.
For those who haven't visited my stall yet, I may have a slight crystal addiction and therefore stock:

Carvings of (almost) everything imaginable
Rough stones and polished pieces
Spheres, towers and statement specimens
Pendants, bracelets and rings

Good evening everyone.

Weather wise it was a very mixed day at Newhailes House and Gardens but as always the hospitality there was amazing!

Its a hard choice deciding what to take with me to events.
I try and have a wide range amd have everything from tumble stones, rough specimens, carvings, jewellery amd tiaras.
But I always have more boxes underneath stall, so if you dont see what you nees/want or if nothing in my table is shouting for you then please feel free to ask.

I also have smaller carvings that are not suitable for most table displays 🤪

Anyway hope to see you again next month.
