Some names just mean something.

Black Midden is named after the reef of rocks at the mouth of the River Tyne, right on our doorstep at the Fish Quay.

The Black Middens has shaped this coastline for centuries. Five ships wrecked in three days during the storms of 1864.

It’s a name that carries weight. And we wanted our blend to match it.
