I'm really excited to be taking part in this new, event this year.
The Northern Potters Association Summer Fair

At the Aldborough and Boroughbridge Agricultural Show

Newby Hall, Ripon, North Yorkshire, HG4 5AE

On Saturday 27th of July 2025.

The NPA is delighted to take part for the first time in the Aldborough and Boroughbridge Agricultural Show at Newby Hall this year. We hope our potter's marquee will be a popular attraction at the Show and that the ceramics fair will become a regular annual highlight of both this show and the ceramics events calendar.

30+ of the association's members are showing their diverse and exciting range of work. From new potters exhibiting at their first show, to old hands who have years of skill and experience. Everything ceramic, from functional kitchenware right through to sculptural artwork will be on display to admire or purchase.

For more information about the show, ticket prices etc. please visit the show website at:- www.boroughbridgeshow.co.uk

The Northern Potters Association is one of the largest UK pottery associations in the UK with over 1000 members across the North of England. The NPA encourages and support artists to create fine art ceramics and studio pottery in all its forms. Visit our website at www.northern-potters.co.uk for more details.

The small show with the big personality in its 107th year and held at Newby Hall outside Ripon. A fun day out for all the family. This years show date is the 24 July 2022.

Again I've been busy with work and orders and I lose track of time and forget to post. I finally made it to the wonderful Moorlands Gallery yesterday with some new stock.
As well as my bird sculptures, I'm branching out 😀 and sculpting some new work. So far, I've made a foal, shire horse, donkey, moon gazing hare, greyhound and a wolf. Some photos in the process of making at the greenware stage (unfired). Work needs to dry slowly now and be propped up so it doesn't sag.
Photos to follow when they're fired and glazed.
