A huge congratulations to Sarah, our Cards & Gifts Buyer, who is celebrating 20 years at Barkers. 🎉
Sarah first joined Barkers at the age of 16, working Saturdays alongside her schoolwork before leaving to attend university a few years later. In 2006, Sarah returned to Barkers full time, and became Cards Buyer four years later.
Sarah is a much-loved member of the Barkers team always going the extra mile for her colleagues and customers.
Congratulations again Sarah, here’s to the next twenty!

We were honoured to be invited to the Barbour Way of Life: Tartan Reimagined show at the Saatchi Gallery in Chelsea as part of London Fashion Week last night.

We had an incredible evening celebrating the story and heritage of Barbour, from its roots in South Shields to the iconic brand it is today, alongside a beautifully curated showcase of tartan reimagined for a new generation.

It was fascinating, inspiring and a real privilege to experience. We’re proud to have Barbour as part of the Barkers family and loved being there to celebrate the brand’s rich heritage and exciting future.
