Delicious smooth drop from Calabria, made with Gaglioppo which gives wild berries, cherry, herbal spice and a touch of smoky earth. It’s Pale, savoury and rustic with plenty of character and a seriously good Sunday night red

Traditional method Blanc de Blancs, this one’s bone-dry 😋 The last box of 6 was staring at me today, so it’s come home for the personal stocks!
If you like English Sparkling, Henners, some top Ridgeviews and the delightful Nyetimber Demi-Sec all arrived today

Friday night wine! Welcome to the long weekend everyone! Drinking Tavernetto from Conte Vistarino it’s from their tiny 2-hectare vineyard which produces superb Pinot Noir, probably no more than 4000 bottles!
It was 1850, when the original Pinot Noir vines were imported from Burgundy! Elegant, refined and a fascinating expression, If fine Italian wine is your thing, a floor stack awaits.
