🥔🎄 Growing your own potatoes? Now’s the time to give them a little extra care! 🎄🥔

With the dry weather, keeping your potato containers well-watered can be a challenge. Here are a few tips to help your crop thrive:

☀️ Choose partial shade – position containers where they receive gentle morning sunshine, but are protected from the strongest heat of the day.

💧 Keep moisture consistent – potatoes need regular watering, especially when growing in containers. Water deeply rather than little and often, and check the compost regularly.

💦 Try water-storing crystals – mixing water-retaining crystals into your compost can help hold moisture around the roots and reduce how quickly containers dry out.

🌱 Keep earthing up – as the plants grow, continue adding compost around the stems to encourage more potatoes to develop and protect them from light.

A little extra attention now can help you enjoy a homegrown potato harvest ready for the Christmas table! 🎄🥔✨

Starting Sunday 9th August, you can enjoy your breakfast favourites whenever you fancy. No alarm clock required.

Our Big Breakfast includes delicious bacon, juicy pork sausages, fried eggs, golden hash browns, baked beans, grilled tomatoes, mushrooms, and thick-cut buttered toast, with your choice of tea or filter coffee on the house.🌿☕

Sleep in. We'll keep the bacon warm. 🥓

If you hear a few raised voices during the lunchtime rush...don't worry! 😂

We're probably just debating "Who's running the food!?", "Who's making the coffees?", or maybe "What table number was the fish and chips?!"

Fast forward five minutes and we're all laughing, helping each other out, and making sure every customer leaves with a smile💛
