I know there is a local venue that has closed and cancelled a number of weddings. We have plenty of availability for Tuesdays & Saturdays for February, March and April then availability for Tuesdays in all months for the rest of the years and Saturdays again in December.

We could even do some small weddings on a Sunday late afternoon evening. As well as our main barn we have a small room licenced for small weddings.

Just a little look back at the marquee that we set up at Northampton Old Scouts RFC for the wedding of the lovely Martin and Lisa. They had seating for 150 with a dance floor and stage in a main marquee. Then a 28x38 capri marquee to house the bar and a food service.

Job Title:

Marquee Erector

Brief Description:

Working as a marquee erector for a busy Northampton event company. The role will include loading and unloading vehicles, travelling to and from sites to build and dismantle marquees along with the maintenance of the equipment. For the right candidate there is a chance to learn other roles within the event industry, with an opportunity to move in to a more senior position.

The candidate would ideally be someone practically minded with a strong work ethic that can be professional and polite at all times. The role is physically demanding, but is rewarding working within friendly and fun team in an outdoor environment at some beautiful locations. You would need to hold a full clean licence. A class C licence would be an advantage, but not essential as training could be given to the right candidate.

Experience in the events industry would be great, but not essential as all training will be provided.

Working Hours:

Typically 08:30-17:00 but start and finish times may vary.
