I think I’ve been a bit lost lately.

And if I’m being completely truthful, that’s probably why I’ve been so MIA on here.

The last year has changed me more than I expected. Motherhood again, postpartum hair loss, my body changing, running a business, looking after everyone else… somewhere amongst all of that, I stopped really knowing what I liked anymore.

And weirdly, that spilled into my business too.

I still LOVE what I make. I still get stupidly excited over a new fabric, a colour combination that just works or seeing one of you wearing something I made.

But showing up here? I felt stuck.

What do I post? What do I talk about? What do I actually want this space — and this business — to be known for?

So I did what I apparently do when I don’t know the answer… disappeared a bit 😂

I kept thinking I’d come back when I had a proper plan. Better content. A clearer direction.

But I think maybe figuring it out is the content.

Because this business has always been about more than just putting your hair up.

It’s the scrunchie that makes a thrown-up bun feel intentional. The colourful clip you put in even though you’re wearing leggings for the fourth day running. Finding little ways to feel like you when you haven’t felt much like yourself lately.

So that’s what I want to get back to.

Figuring out my changing hair. Having fun with clothes again. Making things I’m genuinely excited about. Sharing the messy reality of building this business around real life.

Not waiting until we’ve lost the weight, our hair grows back, the kids need us less or we magically become more confident.

Just finding little ways to choose ourselves now.

So yeah… apparently we’re having a bit of an identity crisis over here 😂

But for the first time in a while, I’m actually excited to show up and figure it out with you. 🫶

How to style our hair bows in five seconds or less…

A lot of people love bows but aren’t quite sure how to wear them day to day. These are three of my favourite ways to style them into hairstyles you’re probably already wearing.

1. The back of your bun!

Buns and bows were made for each other.

Just clip your bow onto the hair directly underneath the base of your bun and you’ve instantly made a quick hairstyle that’s super cute and won’t have you buying bows you love but will never wear!

2. At the top of a braid

Instead of finishing your braid with a bow at the bottom, try clipping one where the braid begins.

It draws the eye upwards, frames the hairstyle beautifully and lets the bow become the feature.

This looks cute tucked into the top of a French braid too!

3. Over a ponytail

This is probably the quickest styling trick.

Tie your ponytail as normal, then clip the bow straight above the hair bobble. It hides the elastic, adds a pop of colour and takes literally seconds.

Hair bows don’t have to be saved for birthdays or special occasions or bought then left on the side because you can’t figure out how to make them look good on you!

They’re perfect for ordinary days too—school runs, coffee dates, work or just because you fancy adding a little personality to your outfit!

Made with resin and set in glitter on a crocodile clip gives them amazing hold with a clip that feels lighter than a cloud and not to mention the smooth texture meaning there won’t be any glitter coming out in their hair and it will always stay super sparkly!
