That’s the thing with plans, they never always pan out the way you want them to 😅 but I have always got tasks to do and am currently making up lots of DIY Plant Hanger Kits with a brand new colour that I want to tentatively say, will be quite popular 🥹

Selling to Amazon ~ part 3! Still on the packaging process (it’s a lengthy one) but 50 kits are nearly ready to ship 🤞 alongside this I’ve had quite a few handmade orders this week so trying to get those done as well as wrangle 3 kids in the summer holidays and still teach, well, it’s been a little hectic but at least I am never ever bored 🤣🤣

For the first time ever I’ve decided to also pack each box in a cellophane wrapper which is far from ideal but I also don’t want boxes to be scratched by Amazon (which they have done before). I know a lot of people gift these boxes and they should be in Prime condition but Amazon also have their own rules with what packaging you can send in, so that’s been another hoop to jump through 🤦‍♀️

Thanking the powers that be for a cooler day today whilst I’m stood watching my middle son play his football match 🙏🙏 I know for a fact I’ll whinge it’s cold and rainy in 3 months time but for now I’m actually sick of 30+C heat and sunshine 🥹

Whilst I’m busy packing up DIY Rainbow Kits I’ve also been busy working on more handmade orders including these name blocks in Dusky Rose and Pretty in Pinks 🩷

I said in my last video I’d try to stop pressuring myself into creating the ‘perfect’ videos because it’s just a ridiculous pressure that absolutely no one needs. Is the lighting great? Not really. Does my study look all pretty and tidy? Um no never lol

But I am meticulous when it comes to creating and packing my products, and I’m proud of that! So here’s a little behind the scenes packing up some more Baby Name Blocks 🩷🤍❤️

Episode 10 of the Small Business Diaries - posting content and what puts me off filming 🎥

I’d be lying if I didn’t admit that sometimes the pressure of posting or even thinking of content to post and how to set up, makes me want to do the complete opposite and not post at all. I’m already quite time poor and sometimes this feels like it takes up far too much bandwidth in my brain. Unless I’m in the mood, which atm is almost never, I just don’t want to spend ages setting up a staged video. So, I haven’t 🙌 I’ve recorded this in my very messy study, which isn’t at all pretty or aesthetic. I am having both a bad hair and my skin isn’t exactly glowing. My workspace does the opposite of exuding serenity but you know what? That’s just me, it’s how I work and I’m so grateful and happy to have the space that I do. Big shoutout to the fellow bringers of chaos 👸 👋

I think this is the shortest reel I’ve ever done? But it still took deceptively long to put together and I’m a bit annoyed at myself for taking the pics in landscape, I blame mum brain with the millions of tabs I have open in my head, it often causes the server to crash 😅

I’ve been away a few days camping with my boys, which was lovely but also quite possibly the opposite of relaxing 😬 and naturally on the last day I had to come down with THE most horrendous bug (it’s unlocked a new fear for me) but I think I’m coming out the other end (lol) of it now 🙌 on that note - Happy Saturday! 🤣
