Light-Poundage Takedown Bow for Sale
£175, or £220 including a set of six arrows made to suit the bow. Plus postage if required.
This is my first takedown bow, originally crafted for personal use as a trial project. I am pleased with the result: an attractive, carefully constructed bow made from dark and light bamboo, purpleheart, and what I believe to be hickory, using quality spare timber from my workshop.
Although I intended to produce a 40–45 lb bow, the finished draw weight is approximately 16–17 lb at 28 inches. Consequently, it is not suitable for my own requirements, but it would make an excellent junior, practice, or lighter-draw bow for anyone seeking an easy-shooting option.
