How can a colour look expensive? 🤔💰

Read below to see if you can determine which colours look expensive and which colours overpower this client! 👇🏽

In Part Two of every Colour Analysis Consultation, I will take a client through the Soft v Bright drapes (after we discover whether they need Warm or Cool colours).

This is an important stage because we are no longer just looking at the complexion - we are looking at the overall appearance - hair and eyes included now.

A person’s seasonal palette will hold colours t hat can look expensive, in harmony, sparkly, uplifting, and feel as though they create a natural flow and connection with a person’s appearance. They look classy and timeless, and just “made” for the person’s overall look.

Other colours can feel blocky, wishy washy, jarring, too heavy and sludgy, overpowering or underwhelming, too bold, garish, lost on them, a bit juvenile perhaps, or draining.

Learning what colours look best, can be totally transformative in the way you style yourself, and ultimately how you feel!

But as we know, “BIG FASHION” likes to cycle a collection of colours to us each season/year. So, here’s my take, in a series, looking at the exact colours you’re seeing online and in shops.

That way, you know what to reach for, and what to put back, based on your season. Because whatever is “trending” isn’t always what’s going to work best for you - and that my friends, is THEE beauty of getting your colour analysis done with me.
