My latest design of preamp PCB. It can be configured for single turn pickups, charge pumped piezos OR experimental electret-accelerometer pickups (hopefully a better contact pickup than piezo). After re-checking, I hope to upload the files to China later on today, Saturday 24th Sept. The blank boards should be back in 10 days or so and hopefully not lost for 5 weeks like before. They should work 'out of the box' but last time, I had to add a couple of wire links to each board before sending them off to the customer. With a following wind, I hope to make these available as 3 separate products in a month or so. It has a standard 2.5mm socket for bridge and other piezos

Coming soon. A totally different type of Piezo Preamp. Hum resistant, powered by a quality dual low-noise amplifier chip and low noise-resistors. Long life from a standard PP3 Battery (Alkaline recommended).

This weekend, I am mostly testing novel types of pickup and assembling screened-lead piezo disk pickups. Both the new transducers say they have a frequency response of 35Hz-32kHz - so, we shall see! The piezo mono-blocks are about the size of a grain of long-grain rice 😕

Just an update. Stuff is arriving slower than promised. It is taking longer to get stuff from Birmingham than from Shenzhen, China, really. Bits and bobs are arriving and I hope to get the shop open, if with reduced items, in a week's time. My intention is to personally re-test each item, where practicable, before shipping.
