Have just been introduced this morning to this excellent early years educator : in New York, by my super lovely cousin (who is an amazing mum to a crazy cool, kind toddler) living in Australia. It really shows that the challenges (and rewards and joy!) of raising kids gently spans continents and that sharing these challenges and tips to get through them online can be both a comfort and a practical aid to others to keep on deepening those connections. It takes a (global!) village… thanks 😍

Sunflowers were my wedding bouquet. This week’s with their unusual coloured ones (and white agapanthus, mint, sedum + lots more) make me want to get married again. ?

It’s always exciting to take receipt of the new issue of A magazine which is specifically curated to support raising boys, it addresses big questions of how you can grow your boys to be more invested in gender equality and also lots of crafts, recipes and and well-written articles relevant to your boy(s) and the rest of the family. This edition is all about screen time. Our ‘battles’ are not what I thought they would be (is anything?!) I take issue which not the length of time they watch for, but the quality (or lack thereof!) of what they choose. I’ll be reading with interest!

Time for some ❤️ LOVEBOMBING ❤️ ? Cute matching cups, wholesome tasty treats from and and a child-focussed environment.

Love bombing involves spending bursts of one-on-one time with your baby or child, away from other family members. You hand over to them as much control as possible about what you do together while sharing with them expressions of love.

The phrase ‘love bombing’ was made popular for parenting by Oliver James a clinical child psychologist. He says it’s a method good for resetting the emotional thermostats of children and their parents.
